Broadway Covid Masks
Spring 2020
After theatre (and everything else) was shut down due to Covid 19, I spent Spring 2020 sewing mask after mask for friends, family and neighbors in NYC. But making masks gets boring, and I was feeling especially sad for the young kids whose theatre program was shut down. So I designed a mask for each show in the group’s Fall/Spring season.
ALADDIN--- Materials used: Felt, yarn, cotton shirting, elastic
ANNIE--- Materials used: Cotton shirting, elastic, acrylic paint
LEGALLY BLOND--- Materials used: Hot pink satin, rhinestones
FROZEN JR.--- Materials used: Sequined fabric, mesh, cotton, elastic, rhinestones.
JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT--- Materials used: Various fabrics, elastic
OLIVER--- Materials used: Cotton, tea, Acrylic paint, elastic.
